Alison Goold is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 18 years experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Carta Capital, Alison was a Senior Executive in the Abbey National Treasury Services Acquisition Finance team with responsibility for managing a portfolio of over £1 billion of leveraged finance transactions. Before joining Abbey National Alison was employed by N M Rothschild & Sons Ltd for 12 years where she had a number of roles including responsibility for arranging debt facilities for small and mid-sized UK leveraged buyouts as one of the original members of the Leveraged Finance Division. Alison also holds a B.A. degree in Business and Administration from Strathclyde University.

Prior to joining Carta Capital, Audun was a Director in the Corporate Advisory and Corporate Finance team at Islandsbanki, from 1999 until 2002.  In particular, Audun was responsible for sourcing, structuring and arranging leverage financing, with special focus on mezzanine and equity financing, which Audun established and ran alongside Johann Magnusson. Audun was also an integral part of the team which established Islandsbanki’s presence in London. Previously Audun was an investment manager at Kaupthing hf.  Audun holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Iceland and gained a M.Sc. in Finance at Strathclyde University in 1999.

Johann Magnusson was Managing Director of FBA Corporate Advisory Ltd and subsequently ISB (Iceland's Bank) Corporate Advisory from 1999 onwards. These departments ran the bank's M&A activity, along with building the mezzanine finance business. Previously, Johann was Managing Director of Ker ehf., which was then a subsidiary of Oliufelagid hf., Iceland's largest oil distribution company, with responsibility for overseeing an equity portfolio of over 80 companies. A Management Consultant at Studull ehf. for 14 years, Johann was one of its two founders and owners. Prior to that, he was a Management Consultant at Hagvangur hf. for 1 year and Marketing Manager at Vifilfell hf. (Coca Cola - Iceland)  for 4 years. He has broad experience in management, business strategy formulation, and the reorganisation of firms, and has sat on the board of numerous companies. He holds a Cand. Oecon. degree from the University of Iceland.

Toshi Shah is a qualified ACCA with over 18 years experience in the Financial Services Sector gained in a number of multi-national organizations including Morgan Stanley, Banque Worms and Nacional Financiera. Toshi has been the Fund Accountant at Carta Capital for over 6 years and has a wide range of experience including; statutory reporting together with the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, liaison with and reporting to the Bank of England and the FSA, and the provision of financial information to investors.
